Another status update!

Hi everyone. Just thought I’ll keep you updated with whats been going on during the last few days. I’m on a roll with the status updates aren’t I ^_^

Recently I’ve been thinking about DMEZ and how you are limited with what you can do with a hosted wordpress account. So with the recent paycheck that I received, I thought “I think I’m going to subscribe to a hosting service and host my own blog from now on”. And that exactly what I did. Working on the new blog the past few days has kept me busy and I’m sorry for the lack of updates.

A benefit of hosting my own blog now is that downloads will be faster! And when everything is done I won’t need Megaupload any longer! No more typing in verification codes!

When I was shopping around for a hosting service I considered sites such

as GoDaddy and BlueHost but they didn’t have what I wanted at the price I wanted. I needed unlimited hosting space with unlimited bandwidth and I needed it to be affordable for a poor working college student. I found one solution that offered all 3 and the service I am currently using is FatCow.

Never heard of them? Me either before one of my friends mentioned it to me. It turns out that they were listed #1 out of the 10 best hosting services available on the web at roarhosting.com and with unlimited bandwidth and storage for around $60/yr with a free domain name I couldn’t agree more.

They have aslo integrated many applications that are ready to install such as wordpress which makes setting up a blog a snap! If you are planning on hosting your own blog or website and need unlimited bandwidth and storage at a very reasonble price I would highly recommend FatCow. Detective Conan Special 1+2 Now Online!

This is for all the fans of Case Closed out there! I really liked the series alot when it aired 5 years ago in the states on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately though, the series had to be cancelled due to low ratings. Even so, I’m glad there were live action specials made for it!

The first special features Oguri Shun as Kudo Shinichi (before he became Conan Edogawa) and Kurokawa Tomoka as Mori Ran as they try to figure out who’s behind the kidnapping that’s been taking place.

The second special also features Kashii Yu as Haibara along with Conan as they try to solve a murder mystery and keep Haibara out of harms way.

DMEZ 3-Month Anniversary! ^_^

Today Drama Made Easy is officially 3 months old!!! YAY!!! And since I don’t post a lot of status updates about the site as oppose to drama updates I thought what better day than to do one today!

Why a 3-month anniversary? Well one reason being is that Megaupload only store files from free members for 90 days before deletion and yesterday I decided to go premium! What that means for all you drama fans out there is that the drama is here to stay! And since I’m not limited to 200GB of storage anymore more dramas will be coming your way soon!

Unfortunately, being the poor student that I am I couldn’t afford the $200 lifetime membership and had to settle for the $20 3-month membership ^_^;; However, I’m hoping that within the next 3 months I will be able to purchase a lifetime membership so that the files will always be online for you to enjoy without having to worry about them expiring.

To help me achieve that goal, I’m asking everyone to please spread the word about Drama Made Easy! If you enjoy the contents found on this site and are pretty well off please consider donating to the DMEZ Good Karma Fund! For those who would like to help but can’t donate I urge you to please click as many download links as you can! They are the ONLY advertisements found on this site and every click earns me a fraction of a penny to help keep things running, and best of all it won’t cost you anything!

Something that I have noticed in the last 3 months is that even the number of visitors to this site has increased there haven’t been many comments on the posts! Please, by all means, feel free to share how you feel about a certain drama if you are compelled to! I won’t be able to respond to all of the comments but I will try to at least respond to any questions posted.

A new feature that I am planning to add some time within this week is polls! Now you the readers can have a say in which drama you want to see first! Any suggestions are gladly welcomed and I will take the first 5 mentioned in this post’s comments for consideration!

Atashinchi no Danshi Now Online!

Horikita Maki plays the role of the main character in this drama, Chisato, who is a net cafe refugee (someone that is unemployed with no where to live and hops from net cafe to cafe) because of her father’s gambling habit. Unfortunately, Chisato’s mom died while she was still young and her dad abandoned her and is on constantly on the run.

One day while Chisato was being chased by loan sharks, a man named Shinzo appeared from a helicopter offering to settle her debt if she marries him and become the mother of his 6 adopted sons.

All of Shinzo’s sons are handsome but they all have different personalities and don’t see eye to eye. Shinzo is a very wealthy man and he adopted his sons in hopes that they would be the heir to his company one day. How will this story unfold? Watch and find out!

Moto Kare Now Online!

This drama came out back in 2003 and features Domoto Tsuyoshi and the lovely Hirosue Ryoko as the main characters. It’s mainly a love triangle story and not as good as Summer Snow but I think it’s still worth watching. For the full synopsis check out:

The story revolves around the daily life of 4 women of different ages and of different generations. On the surface everything seems fine and well but underneath of it everyone of them faces their own problems.

All 4 women were invited to the same wedding and an unlikely friendship between them was formed. After meeting each other, all of their lives have drastically changed.

14 Sai no Haha Now Online!

14 Sai no Haha literally means 14 year old mother. This drama features Shida Mirai as the main character Ichinose Miki who unfortunately gets pregnant at such a young age.

Being a 14 year old mom is not a common everyday thing even in the states but in Japan it’s almost unbelievable. Despite the hardships, Miki decides to keep the baby and tries to live her life as best as she can.

Sapuri Now Online!

This drama came out near the end of 2006 andI think it’s pretty good. The story line is nothing special but nonetheless still pretty good. Here is the synopsis taken from Drama Wiki.

Based on a popular manga, Minami (Ito Misaki) is a single 28-year-old office worker in an advertising office. She’s very work-oriented and her love is doubted by her boyfriend. One day, she meets Yuya (Kamenashi Kazuya), who is a part-time worker at her company.”
